Buying A Home In Northern Colorado Springs Award Winning Academy School District 20

By Nancy Murray

When using third party property search tools (such as Realtor.com) please be aware that some tools purposely keep unavailable properties on their tool to include properties under contract. Many of these sites do not distinguish these properties, so the user is under the wrong impression that all the properties they see are available.

If you find that the property search tool isn't narrowing down your search enough or you want the most up to date information on available properties in Northern Colorado Springs or Academy School District 20 (ASD20) properties, you might want a custom property website populated directly from the Colorado Springs MLS. You can add criteria such as main level master, lot size, and other items not available on the various search tools. Check out the sample property search site, which allows you to sort through some of the active listings in Academy School District 20 and categorize them. Once categorized, you shouldn't see rejected properties on the main page.

The new Colorado Springs MLS property search sites provide the most accurate information to the user when the user loads their property search site, pulling the information directly from the database. The user can receive daily or weekly emails if changes have occurred to properties that meet their needs. We recommend bookmarking the URL for their property website as a favorite in their browser for easy access.

If this is of interest to you, please send us a quick email to info@ourdistrict20homes.com of your requirements or complete the Perfect Home Finder Form. We can usually have the website up and running in less than 24 hours. After it is set up we will verify that you are seeing the right Northern Colorado Springs homes, then we sit back and allow you to do the browsing and sorting, only checking in with you from time to time.

Oh, I forgot to point out, we can set up several searches. So if you want various price ranges, areas, school districts, or other parameters, we can do that too. Just keep in mind, not everything is searchable and the more the parameters, the fewer the properties that will be returned to you.

Both of us have moved many times, Ann with the corporate world and me with the military (GO NAVY!), both of us finally settling down in Northern Colorado Springs. Don't hesitate to let us know how we can help with your transition. If you live outside the Colorado Springs area, we would be happy to preview properties for you and take the pictures that the listing agent left off. Also, this website only searches active listings. If you aren't finding the right property, we can also research the recently expired and withdrawn properties for you as well.
