The Actual Everyday Living Together With Professional Career Most Typically Associated With Mr. Bruce Karatz Through The Course Of His Time At KB Home

By Annamaria Templin

Being a philanthropist is a full time job. That's why Bruce Karatz charitable work waited to really take on the full duties once he chose to leave KB Home. A company that he'd actually joined early on in his career, when you look at his history he's come a really long way since those days decades ago.

When he first started, KB Home was all about building beautiful homes. The types that got headlines, but that didn't always get the sales. That makes for a costly company, if you're not always profiting off of every single home.

It was KB Home investor relations in the eighties that actually came up with the concept of switching to a home on demand company. That means they only build homes that people want to design themselves.

This way people could actually come to the company themselves, and build a home from the ground floor up. Including picking out appliances, types of materials, overall home design, everything.

Leading to KB Home being a publicly traded company, and one of the most successful home building companies in the world actually. But far beyond this the success really cemented them as the biggest builder in America.

That afforded customers the opportunity to build their dream homes, and it was something that become really popular as a concept. But it also made house building a lot more affordable than most would think it would be.

Through some of them he's inspired by providing education, saving peoples homes, and also helping former criminals reform and learn trades, so they can become valuable members of society.

The pioneering leadership of Bruce Karatz drove KB Home to become the biggest home builder in America. A successful publicly traded company that's been on the rise ever since he took the reins of leadership.
