There seems to be a great level of challenge when living in the city but none more so unless you are Spider-Man. Peter Parker certainly has a lot on his plate and it doesn't even begin to include his task of defending people of New York City. On the contrary, Parker still has to live his own life and one of the major aspects of it is being able to make the rent. Due to his difficulties in making certain that it consistently happens, commercial collection agencies may have to be hired.
One would have to wonder why commercial collection agencies would target the likes of Spider-Man. Yes, the city may not universally love him, but he's still someone who has helped to protect the city on countless occasions and lives were saved in the process. Knowing this, do reputable companies like R.R.S. have the motivation to go after him? Well, considering the fact that Peter Parker has to contend with normal issues growing up, like everyone else has to from day to day, I think the motivation is certainly present.
Spider-Man in concept is not going to help Parker support himself and he has to be able to hold a steady job. The problem is that while his focus is on photography and progressing to a job entailing that, he has to take on littler jobs to supplement that. Making the rent is particularly draining when you consider how low both forms of payment prove to be. Parker may not have it easy but I think it still gives the landlord a reason to get collectors involved on a matter he may not want to soil his hands with.
I can't imagine it was much easier for Parker during the third Spider-Man movie once the Black Suit began to take effect on him. While he was initially scared of the thought of paying off a rent, or failing to do so, the suit turned his attitude upside down. At that moment, it was a case of him almost giving the orders and snapping whenever the rent was requested of him. Parker's more authoritative side showed itself but one can argue that it wasn't for the best.
Parker clearly has a great slew of abilities under the guise of Spider-Man but how useful would they be in legal matters? It's a time where he would have to stop being the superhero for a change and start being an adult living in the big city. Even that has proven to be a challenge since attaining a steady job has been, to say the least, impossible at times. I think that he would need to buckle down and spend less time acting as the hero, no matter how many lives are saved.
