We knew a couple when we lived down south by the names of Barry and Liz who seemed to have a tricky time with being content with where they lived as permanent residents in NYC. We knew that when Liz's elderly mom died down south, this couple would likely end up doing a search for movers NYC and moving somewhere else, but weren't sure exactly where. Liz had lived with her mother temporarily due to a health problem so that she could help her out as needed.
But learning of the mom's death, we realized that Liz had found she liked living down south and started working on Barry to move down there. When she did the NYC movers and movers NYC searches she discovered that they do most of the work apart from the boxing up of their household things.
She and Barry would have to do that. And Liz was quite the "collector" when it came to having stuff lying around the house. Saying that she was on the edge of being a "hoarder" would be more appropriate in her case.
Poor Barry... he ended up having to do a lot of the actual physical work in getting everything sorted and arranged, as Liz was a bit lazy and always had excuses. Barry just wished to get things over with in moving more than anything, so constantly after work he'd start on the boxing of their household goods.
I found out through the "grapevine" that Barry and Liz had some huge yard sales to help get rid of some of their "collection" (junk) and this helped them not need so many boxes. The NYC movers did take care of the rest for them, however, and in spite of their "stripping down to bare essentials" they had two huge moving trucks move them into their new home down south.
