What To Find In Kensal Rise

The area of Kensal Rise can be found within the borough of Brent within the City of London. It borders the City of Westminster and the boroughs of Chelsea and Kensington. The place is attracting many young professionals to live there right now mainly because of the excellent transportation links that it has to the rest of the city.

The population of the area is characterized by a mixture of different cultures that were attracted to place enough to buy a Kensal Rise property. While accessibility is the biggest reason why so many young people are flocking there, they are finding some other reasons to stay and to help you in deciding here are some of those reasons:

Chelmsford Square Tennis- Do you like tennis? Then you are going to be delighted with this gem of a court. It offers excellent facilities for your playing and the best thing about it is that it is absolutely for free.

Kensal Green Cemetery- This is one of the major landmarks in the area and is the one that is most identified with it. The sprawling 72 acres of the park serves as the final resting place of so many famous and celebrated individuals throughout history. Walking through the cemetery is like a real life history lesson. Considered as one of the finest cemeteries in England it is really worth visiting.

Kilburn Library- This a small and cozy library. The only problem with it is that you can easily get lost looking for it. It is sandwiched between a police station and a church and it might be easy to miss if you do not know just what it is that you are looking for. You can do so much more than just borrow books.

Queen's Park-This is a huge park which is considered to be one of the finest in the country. There is an excellent playground within it there where you can let your kids have a lot of fun and there are shops and cafes around the area where you can just s take things easy.
