It is the dream about each actress to get a big part in a movie or TV series and eventually live the life of an actor. This was finally happening to me. I had studied for a few years, and I was finally going to be in a big show that was going to be based out of NYC.
I had bought this lovable one bedroom flat and I could barely wait to move into. I lived in Maryland most of my life and this move finally meant I was really about to make something with my career. I didn't want to try to plan this move by myself. I knew people who did that and it never went as easy as they claimed it might go. Often, something got damaged or lost, and who wants to drive one of the big moving vans anyhow?
Definitely not me, but I really was not much of a driver anyway, if I could walk or take a cab I would be a lot more happy. That was one of the best things about living in N.Y.C., the mass transit and the cabs.
I would never have to drive anywhere ever again if I did not want too. This way I could give my car to my sister, whose girl would need it next year as she was starting drivers training. They came and boxed everything up wonderfully and before I knew it I was sitting in my new place with all of my things safe and sound.
