When my husband and I got married, we also bought a house. We both had flats, and we had plenty of things that we needed to get over to our new property. Sadly, we had to move in August, and it was very hot. While our families had always helped us move in the past, our parents were getting older and were not as mobile as they once were. Not only that, but the heat would have made the experience unhappy for all concerned. Therefore, my husband and I chose to hire NYC movers.
Obviously, we wanted to find the best movers NYC offered. We had never employed movers before, so we were uncertain of what to expect from the process. Some of our friends recommended a company, and after talking with them about their rates and their policies, we decided to hire Ben Hur Moving & Storage Inc. They seemed to be the best choice out of all of the companies.
On the day of the big move, they arrived at my husband's flat just before the time we agreed on. They loaded everything up at his place in roughly an hour and a half, and then came on over to my studio. They loaded me up as well and then drove all our items over to our new house.
They were really fantastic! They were professional, worked hard, and did everything that they told us they would do. We would not have been able to move ourselves, especially since it got so hot outside, so we were very thankful for them.
After they turned up at our place, they worked until they had every last item unloaded. They were extraordinarily careful with our possessions and nothing was broken or damaged. We were intensely happy with the entire process, and we plan on using them again for our next big move.
