Moving Right Along With the Move

By Laura Hawn

Moving within NYC is a tough situation, particularly because I've a lot of difficulty driving in the city. I don't mind being in a car in the city, even though that makes me a little wired, but I simply can't handle myself behind the wheel. I sweat, I get nervous, I shake, and I freeze up when things get too congested. That is the reason why I would have to call up some NYC movers if I needed to move, and that's probably what I'm going to do.

I'd rather leave the job to the pros, because I know that they can correctly navigate the streets and avenues of NYC. On top of that, I wouldn't have to lift anything all that heavy, since they would be looking after all of that business. I would just need to orchestrate it. I'm lucky in the sense that I live on a street where a moving van can just plant itself without bothering the traffic too much.

I have been thinking about moving for some time now, because I just don't really like my location all that much. The house is great, don't get me wrong, but it's just not close enough to stuff like my job, public transportation, and even the local corner shop.

Since I don't drive, I either have to walk or bike to the majority of places, which is actually pretty good exercise, but when it comes to bad weather days or acute cold and hot, I have a lot of difficulty dragging myself out of the house.

Often I run a fever when I spend lots of time in the cold, and that actually happened last week because I had to get to the food shop for some essentials. It is just time to look up "movers NYC" and get going.
