Scalp Trading Technique Every Trader Must Know

By Garry Ikoku

If you heard about scalping before, then I presumed you also heard of its ability to make small, consistent profit day in and day out. At this moment, we will discuss some basic knowledge of scalp trading, and how this method works in real trading environment, you will also learn how to make profit by using it safely. Just remember that this technique is not suitable for those with the faint heart.

The first thing you want to do is to learn how to trade the market wisely. Do not try to gamble the market by moving in and out many times, or at the same time. You might get yourself burn by doing that especially with very volatile pair such as the Pound Yen pair that has very volatile movement. The danger of trading the currency market by using scalp trading technique is very big. That is why this technique not recommended for newcomers.

You need to limit your daily trading volume. If you are trading too often, you will lost significant amount of energy, unable to concentrate when more profitable opportunities are presented to you. So it is really a lost if someone cannot trade just because he is too exhausted. If after some time sit in front of your computer, it is best to take a break for one or two hours before continuing your activity watching the market for opportunities.

Find the currency pair that easy to scalp. The easiest pair to scalp, in my opinion is the Pound Yen pair. It is because the movement of this pair is very volatile, with nice range of spread, makes it the favorite pair to scalp. The daily trading volume of this pair is significantly high, and the big part of the transactions done with this pair is through scalp trades.

Scalping to get huge profit will never happen. In fact, there is no such thing as fast profit in forex trading no matter what type of trader you are. If you are looking for a get rich quick scheme, forex trading is not the answer. That is why, you should have good trading management that can adjust everything from trading time, trading lots, and trading style to make everything simpler for you.
