Otherwise, one may have to wait for months or sometimes even years before one can obtain a unit.

However, those who can afford high rise condos in a city center are often professionals. For, often such units sell for anywhere from half to several million dollars. As such, unless one has a great deal of money, it is often hard to locate an affordable dwelling in a city center, especially one such as Austin, Boston, New York or Chicago.

However, if one is approaching retirement age, or is looking for a unit for someone else who is, one may want to look at retirement villages which provide a variety of condominium living options for such retirees. After which, one can then decide whether such a unit is best suited to such needs, or whether one may want to purchase such a unit either in a multi-level dwelling or local neighborhood.

Of course, whether buying a multi-million dollar condo, or renting one, one also needs to know whether or not parking is provided. For, if one has an automobile and such parking is not included, one may have a tough time finding parking on a regular basis, especially in a big city such as Boston, New York or even, Austin. As such, if one plans on living in such a building which does not provide parking, one may also want to consider leasing or renting a parking space by the week, month or year in the area.
