You can have peace and have self-confidence to deal with whatever comes your way with some preparation. Gone will be the need to worry in case you are prepared physically, mentally, and spiritually on the possibility of challenging days.

Preparing Physically

1) Have an ample clean water source, and solutions to filter water that doesn't require electricity, much like the Berkey Light Water Filter. You can actually make it through with no food for a few months; nonetheless with no water you'd probably die soon after a few days, therefore needless to say, water is absolutely essential for all living things, and also the most essential nutrient for optimal health and staying away from tragedy.

2) Buy Stored Food. Go To Costco, Sams Club or your preferred grocer and maintain stocks of things that you'd eat later in life.

3) Be able to make your own personal food through gardening or sprouting.

4) Ample shelter, defense against weather or criminals even if you need to abandon your present house.

6) Be capable of generate alternate power/electricity (i.e. generators, solar, wind, batteries, converters, etc.)

7) Have money on hand or ways/products to barter for necessities that you may need, but don't have.

Getting Ready Mentally

8) Keep yourself well-informed with books on survival skills just like gardening, hunting, cooking, canning, practical maintenance repair.

9) Think Biblically: Replenish thoughts on the truth of God's Word (Romans 12:2), can keep you thinking rightly, and also will have an effect on your attitude and actions.

Preparing Spiritually

10) Nurturing your Connection with God via prayer, Bible Study, and fellowship along with other Christians.

11) Pray to your Creator, asking for wisdom, boost your relationship with Him.

12) Sign up for a neighborhood of like-minded people, helps as well to strengthen your role with the knowledge of others you might not have and encourage you to grow spiritually, mentally, and physically.

Regardless if anything could happen this year or next, it really is wise to prepare. It's best to be 5 years ahead, than one day to late.
